The final meeting of the year, the agenda consisted mostly of discussing future events for the club. After a lull in shows this summer, I think everyone's getting a little cabin-fever, so to speak. This was the second meeting to be hosted by Chad (thanks Chad!), and the first that one of our members, Tim, was able to attend. We had a building contest, and shared some of Lego's new sets.

- BrickWorld is one of the two big events this summer. Effectively our own BrickFest, it sohuld prove loads of fun.
- NMRA is in Detroit this year, and should prove a blast. The layout will likely be much the same as BrickWorld, but the atmosphere will be quite different I imagine. Not an event to miss!
- Chad bought the new Aquaraiders base, and shared that with us. It's a neat set, with plenty of "old-school" features and construction styles. Stefan brought one of the new Bionicle "Barraki" sets. They contain a neat little piece that is essentially an old light and sound globe with a peg on the back.
- We had another building contest. Scott bought us all the new creator Mosaic sets, and we each used one to see what we could make. There were all sorts of designs and ideas, and it was quite fun. Tim snagged first, winning the new hovercraft.
- Stefan had to leave early, but the rest of the group stayed to watch "Cars" - another excellent movie from the Pixar team.
